Kirk G. Hawn, D.D.S.

Dr. Hawn has been married 36 years to Renee Hawn who supported him through Dental School. They have been blessed with two daughters, Crossley and Sage. In 2006 Dr Hawn and his family spent three weeks in rural Uganda Africa providing dental care without electricity. For the past 15 years The Hawn Family, with St. James Episcopal Church, goes on annual mission trips to Welsh, West Virginia. Dr Hawn also enjoys surfing, snow skiing, jewelry making, bike riding, and evening walks about town with his wife Renee.

Hypatia Tarleton: Office Manager

Hypatia was born and raised in Lovettsville. She has been married for 33 years to her husband. Hypatia has worked for Dr Hawn for 25 years. She started as a dental assistant for 10 years and is now the office manager. She welcomes patients at the front desk. In her free time she enjoys camping and going to the beach.

Magdalena Gwaltney: Dental Hygienist

My name is Magdalena Gwaltney. I graduated magna cum laude from State College of Florida in 2012 as a registered dental hygienist. I am passionate about my career and strive to make dental hygiene a positive experience for all of my patients. When I’m out of the office I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children.

Ciara Barentine: Dental Assistant

Ciara graduated from Woodgrove High School in 2013 and has worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Hawn for 4 years. In her free time she enjoys painting, reading and collecting and identifying insects.
